Fused Glass Clocks

These fused glass clocks were made at the Corning Museum of Glass in October 2013.

The calico cat clock (left) hangs on the wall, which leaves room under the hands for decoration.

The star clock (right) is a shelf clock, which puts the hands too close to the face for any glass on the face itself.
That's the Milky Way on the left and Orion on the right. If I had it to do over again, I would make the hour markings red,
or maybe orange--something that would stand out better from the starfield than the green does.
I would also make Orion's stars white; the pictures I consulted showed Orion's stars with a bluish tinge
except the one shoulder which was yellowish, so that's the colors I used, but white would be better.
